Per Jim's suggestion, here's a place to post photos of the phones we will use during the conference call.

I suggest keeping posts on this thread to photos only so we can easily scroll through them during the call.  Discussion can happen elsewhere.

We'll start with the guest of honor... D/P's set.

This is my phone for the conference call (after I put the housing back on).

I will use a black 500 dated December of 1950.

Wow! Dennis. That phone looks really awesome.

Are you planning to wear a tuxedo? Sunday clothes? PJs?

;D ;D ;D
Jorge

Dennis Markham

My secret, Jorge.  If it's a teleconference call, I'll put on a tuxedo. :)

Dan/Panther

Did anyone notice that the first 4 phones have the 4 variations of the dial.

I hadn't noticed that, Dan.  It would be nice to see them all together....in the same room...maybe on a shelf in MY office! :)

Dan/Panther

Dennis;
If by some chance we all happen to stop by, and just happen to have our phones with us, I think we could arrange to set them all on your shelf for a photo op. :D :o ::)

That would be great Dan.  I'll keep a vacant shelf ready just in case.

Here is my 6-9-58 soft F-53115 500 set. It is a newer phone than the previously posted phones. The dial is bezel is style 4, Like Dennis's set.

Then after you get your photo, we can load them in to my car so I can drive back to California and put them all on a shelf in MY office.
How does that sound ?

If I can manage to join the call, I will be doing it using this phone, my 10/50, which is also the one in my avatar.  The flash has highlighted all of its imperfections.  This phone is basically as I found it, and I haven't done anything to the case.  That's going to need to change, especially after seeing how nice Dennis' phone looks.

Oh yeah, and that's the original number card from the 302 that was the first phone installed when my parents moved in here.  I retained their number so that card is still "current" if one could describe it that way.

Ralph;
Let us know when it's most convenient, give us as big a window as you can so we can arrange around it.
I thought my 500 looked shiney, but Dennis' takes that honor so far. IU'm going to have to grease er up with F21, and take aquick photo.

I just put a little Novus2 on mine for the "photo shoot".

Ralph, that's pretty cool that your dial card is original to your parents and you still have the same number.
