I finally got one!  I finally got myself a 10 button touch tone phone!  It is a black Western Electric model 1554.  It cost me $37 plus $16.20 in shipping.  Here's the link:

It was you I was bidding against! (Actually, I got stuck in a meeting at work...).

Congrats! Glad it went to one of us!

A phone phanatic since I was less than 2 (thanks to Fisher Price); collector since a teenager; now able to afford to play!
Favorite Phone: Western Electric Trimline - it just feels right holding it up to my face!

I just bought a red phone with a black handset on eBay.  I'm thinking of replacing the red dial with a black one and turning it into a two tone red and black phone.  I suppose I could make it all red, but I don't have a red handset.  Here's the link:

I recently bought a tan ITT 2500 on eBay.  It was a little bit different than the phone pictured and a bit newer.  I only paid $0.99 plus $15 shipping.  Here is the link:

I recently got a 1964 WE 500.  This is one where all the dates match.  Everything was made in February 1964, even the case!  I got it off eBay for $10.50 plus $12.00 shipping.
