1958 Blue Rotary Desktop Phone eBay find....

Hello Forum...

I just bought this off eBay and it arrived today.  Nice blue phone that will need a bit of work but over all in nice condition.  Its stamped inside in blue.  All the dates match on the phone, except the the inside parts in the headset.  It has the 6 hole cap.  Over all I am excited.  Not bad for $25.00 bucks.  Here are the pics...and here is the item number on eBay..    160737007269

Yes, that is a good find at a great price. Will be interesting to see it cleaned up.

As you know I collect the soft  554's too.  I find it odd that the Lt, Blue (Aqua) 500 came out in 1958, but the Lt. Blue 554 didn't come out until 1961.

Also the Lt. Blue 172C back board was the only color that was not made, for the colors made in 1958 and on.  They were made in the later one. (182B & 191C? not sure on the number)
