Did the 5302 come with G1 handsets ?

They came with either F-1 or G-1 handsets. The handset cradle is designed so as to hold either style securely.

I know they came with both G1 and F1 but everything I've seen in shops and on line has had an F1.  I think the G1's were less common, but a G1 is what I would want on a 5302 if I had one.

Come to find out, the 5302 with a G1 handset is referred to as a 5304...
Anyone have other information on that. I think I made an ass off myself on an auction by correcting someone that called one a 5304, and then I noticed on the bottom, it did in fact say 5304. :-[ :-[

My 5302 with a G-1 is most definitely marked 5302, in big vermilion ink, on the bottom. I know that it's always had a G-1, as it has the correct add-on hardware for the 500-style strain relief on the handset cord.

I suspect that a 5304 is probably the 5302-style variant of the 304 set, which is

"Tip-party station of message rate, automatic ticketing, and automatic message accounting. 101B coil, B2A ringer"

Give Ben a cigar, he's correct. Look here. I don't believe there's any reference to which handset it used. Your image is safe Dan, partly 8) :P ;D

Ok, now this has me stumped as I've never seen reference to this type of 5302. But, I've seen this before. So I know this isn't the only one. Any insight?

Here's another, though this one looks more "reserved"

Those phones look like some sort of prototype for the 5302.  Interesting, as they look like I imagined a 5302 would when I first read about them and before I had ever seen a picture of one.
