I have a NE candlestick on the way from Canada. It's unusual (to me) in that it has a solid perch marked 20-AL. It has an obviously busted bulldog transmitter on it.

I would like to find a nice transmitter but I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. I've seen a couple of NE sticks with NO 'banana tag' on the transmitter face plate. I've found other images where there is a tag but I can't read the detail.

What would be correct for a NE 20-AL? Anyone have a nice image?

Some NE transmitters have a tag with just a number, such as "323." The cast (solid) perch is normal on N-20ALs.

My NE sticks have unmarked transmitter face plates.  I've seen this more often than marked face plates.  You should also look at the location of the four back cup holes.  I've had marked back cups where you couldn't center the back cup markings and a transmitter with a banana tag.  It was either one or the other (either the back cup markings were offset or the transmitter banana tag was off to one side).  This may explain why they used unmarked transmitter face plates.
