That telephone is not even a WE. It is an AE type 21 set with a WE trans.

That new price matches the competition - This "real" gold candlestick is up right now for the same starting price.   ;)

It's missing the card holder and has a strange dial plate but I guess that equals out against the "improvements."

This looks to be an AE C/S, with a WE #5 dial. The number plate is a "M" used on a 5302.  Yes it could also be a #6 dial, with the M plate. Hard for me to see.

Thanks for the close up. Yes it is a AE C/S, and looks to be a #5 WE dial, with the M plate.  This is the same type of C/S lamp, I just sold for $100. OK Mine didn't have the lamp shade.

Side note, I have fix these lamp back into a C/S telephone more than once before.

I'm working on my first. Just got a 151AL perch to replace the one what came with the C/S that had the lamp socket welded on to the top of the perch. Removing paint right now and waiting for the internal wiring harness to arrive. I guess it's a choice, restore as is (a lamp) or take back to a working phone. I needed the C/S for my working phone collection. My C/S didn't even come with the lamp socket, much less the shade.   :D

About the lamp shade. I only charge for the packing as they are a pain to pack and ship.  :<)

Vern

PS How badly was the perch damaged ?

Well, the lamp socket was first welded to the slightly spread perch and then the socket was apparently dropped causing the bends you see in this picture. I will try to cut the socket off and file the weld away to see if it can be salvaged but in case it couldn't, I already picked up an undamaged perch.

The transmitter cup, other than the corrosion, was damaged where the mounting bolt passes through. the holes were torn and pressed in. Hard to see the metal tears in this photo but you can see it in not flat. I'll try to get that back into shape but got another cup just in case.

The stick as arrived is the third photo. That's how it came and all I got. And, the Bulldog had cracks on opposite sides and have a good replacement for that as well.
