How uncommon is it to have an "office" phone with the original 1A2 cord still intact? I picked up this phone a couple of months ago (a 565HDR+). I haven't seen many of these phones, but every time I do see one on e-bay, the large cord has been cut at the phone.  Mine, however, still has the cord intact, and the plug even has the plastic protector still in place!

I'd say relatively uncommon.  You can still find many key sets on eBay with their mounting cords intact, but as you've experienced, just as many on eBay have had their mounting cords cut off.

That's a nice set you've got there!
