And the winner of Auction Contest #207 is poplar1 who with the very first entry into the contest offered the winning guess of $200.00 giving him his 4th auction contest win. What did he know to win the contest with the first guess? And, we almost had a tie if only WEBellSystemChristian had guessed 15 cents lower (guessed $215), the sale price would have been exactly between those two guesses. So poplar1 won by 15 cents. How's that for both good guessing and a close win. So, once again, our congratulations go out to poplar1 for another win in the CRPF Auction Contests and for moving up one rung in the Contest Standings.

The phone was won by u***b ( 43 ), who was bidding along the way but placed his last and final bid about 50 minutes before the auction ended and there were no last second snipes so he took the phone home for $207.50. The phone started at $19.90 and moved up in price during the auction but failed to see the anticipated final second pop in price even though there were 9 bidders placing 48 bids. The seller sure didn't have to sit down during that ending. Someone got a deal on this phone, paying for the dial and getting the rest as a bonus.
