All digital cameras that I have owned had a flash setting. You wanted a flash, you set it to flash. So easy even I could do it! I got this for a gift about 4 years ago and didn't bother as my old Nikon worked so well. It finally died and I have this L26. You are supposed to be able to press the snap button and feel it go to flash. I wouldn't even flash in a dark room. Then it works fine and then it stops.  >:(  Sometimes it takes a  picutre, sometimes it doesn't. I am surprised it hasn't bounced off a wall by now. Before it goes flying, anyone have any idea how I can set my camera to take a flash picture....thanks....Doug
