I have been looking for one of these for a while, and I finally got one last week.  I paid a total of $65.  The paint finish is not in the best condition, but it is probably better than most.  When I received the phone, there was a T1 transmitter element rattling around inside the handset.  I tried replacing it with a WE F1 and also a CTE F1 type, but there was almost no sound from the transmitter.  I checked the wiring, and eventually determined that the capacitor in the talk circuit was bad.  I got a new 2.2 μF capacitor and soldered one lead to the old capacitor and the other to the wire which I removed from the other side of the capacitor, and now the phone works fine with a WE F1 element.

This phone is quite big and heavy.  The shell is heavy gauge metal, but the handset is made of tenite.  It is designed so that it can sit on a desk or be mounted on a wall.
