Do you physically have one of these?  If you do, I need to know for sure, how many pulses does each digit on this dial make?

Also, what specifically were dials like this used for?

Thanks.

Sir:

Can you snap a picture of the back side?

1 - 11 pulses, depending on the digit dialed.  (A = 11).

Some dial plates are numbered 10 instead of 0.

Many were used in non telephony or control applications, such as radio tuning.

I believe they got the extra digits from the dial in the third photo.

I have an old phone with a 11 hole dial and a F2 push to talk. Phone/Radio switch. Not sure what it was used for, but it is an attention getter....Doug
