I don't know how to download it from the link you give but if it was on youtube, it's easy....

Yeah, that ambulance almost caused an emergency, I'm surprised they let it out without spiked tyres or snow chains, that'd be the sensible thing to do... :o

And in contrast, here's britain's failing attempt at getting uphill in the snow, until an Arriva bus comes along to show them how...

Here in Québec we don't have the right to put a chain on a tire when you run a car on the road... :(... they do the spraying sand or salt on the roads...

EDIT: If you want to downlod the link from Youtube, just to download ((( atube Catcher ))) install it, and copy/paste the link ... you have a lot of choices....

Here in the UK, we're not allowed spiked tyres, but we can use snow chains on the smaller roads ("B" roads (narrow country lanes) or small "A" roads (links between towns, cities and villages)), but they have to be removed for larger roads (Motorways and heavy-traffic A roads) where the roads get priority for treatment with grit (a mix of sand & salt) and snow ploughs...

That said, we've not had any appreciable snow so far, it'd be a better idea to purchase an inflatable boat rather than snow chains with all the heavy rain we've had in this country... ;D

;D We use spiked tyres! They should have used chains. You may do so here, but should not drive faster than 40 km/h with the common type, just used for emergency.   "Real" chains with spikes works even at higher speeds, and buses trucks etc are not allowed driving in winter without at least carrying chains in case of.....

4wd vehicles could definitely help!

Yeah, in the States, no one really has chains on their tires, at least where I live in the Twin Cities. Though, people do put them on their snow-blowers and I know a guy who has them on his plowing jeep.

Speaking of Lillehammer, has anyone seen the new show on Netflix called Lillyhammer?  I think it's filmed on location and quite a good show.

Terry, that is pretty hilarious, though it would be pretty pathetic if that actually happened.

hehe, makes a good point (if a little overly-emphasised) about RWD cars being a bit useless in winter too, one twitch of the foot on the go-pedal and you're staring into the headlights of the guy behind you, after spinning around a few times... ;D

2CV - that bus driver is a class act, but remember he has the advantage of a big lump of an engine at the rear
"now this should take five minutes, where's me screwdriver went now..?"
