After reading the threads concerning the "schmoo" phone I noticed concern about dust on displayed units.  I just wanted to suggest what I use on my phones and old radios of all sizes.  The Swiffer duster.  It gets into all the nooks and crannies, except, of course under the dial fingerwheel.  They are relatively cheap, leave no residue and hold a lot before beginning to lose it's accumulated load.  Then just pull the cloth off the handle and slide another on.

I have a huge problem with dust. It's a fine talc powder consistency. It gets into places you can't imagine, and even sticks to the BOTTOM of my shelves.
It requires a complete tear down of my display to clean so unfortunately it doesn't get done too often. If the room is totally sealed is the only way to stop it.

Mine has the consistency, if not the volume.  The dusters do hold a lot, though.

I used suffers as well. Best in my opinion.
