Dark brown, but the only brown bakelite phone I ever hav seen in Norway

Had to put it together with a std black one to show its actually brown.
Got it at a local flea market for approx $27  My intention was to use it for parts, but no, it was actually brown! and in pretty good shape.  I cleaned it, used a little steel wool no 00 and oiled with "China oil" wiped of so it not should be to shiny.  Replaced the handset cord with a new (homemade) one.

Yes, but you'll have to travel quite a bit to "compete" with dsk in his local market!

By the way, the brown phone looks sharp! I couldn't understand why AT&T/Western Electric gave up on the Mahogany phones...
