Interesting "5302" on eBay

What is it? 302 base but were 5302 shells ever produced in this color? Phone seems to be a mixture of parts and/or paint creating a WE franked desk set. $20 BIN plus $15 shipping seems high. Any thoughts?

5302 were produced in an Ivory color for a short time. This guy is painted....Doug

There seems to be a few more of these on Ebay - I assume all painted the same.

One seems to be Light Beige. 

Looking at the view of the bottom of the phone in question here, it seems to be the same color top and bottom.  So if that is an original Light Beige housing, that may be why it went so fast.  The G1 handset is definitely painted.  So the only unusual value would be the colored housing.

Appears to have beige paint flaking off the black housing on underside. Logo may be filed off near the handhold. No ringer volume control so probably not a WE repair shop conversion. Painter didn't have the proper 164C-60 beige number plate or the beige number ring so had to use a blank number plate (or painted white?) and a black number ring.

Seller says it is beige plastic, not paint.  It sold before I got his message.

look around the bottom of the shell, I WOULD HAVE JUMPED FOR $20 but is sure looks painted to me.....Doug
