OK guys.... heres my question.... can you use a grandstream HT801 ATA adapter with google voice?

I asked Google home assistant, she said 'they are the only ATAs that work natively with google voice'.

Aout a year or 2 ago Google changed to "Open SIP" protocol. Then they proceeded to lock out anyone not using an Obahi device. You also can no longer use any obi1XX evice it ust be Obi2XXX or higher.

Update.....

Yes you can but will still need to access Google voice by way of an Obi200/Obi202 or a patched version of asterisk. (good luck with the last method.)

Most any ATA can make calls sending them to an Obi200/Obi202.

This will also allow you to use the Obi200 port for touchtone phones while pulse calls can be made on a Pulse compatible ATA.

Mutiple simultaneous calls are also supported.
