Title: Big Bull Tractor Instruction Book
Post by: Mark Stevens on December 08, 2008, 02:46:47 PM
I forget...who's the vintage tractor enthusiast here, BDM? Anyway, I just came across something that I'd completely forgotten about, a Big Bull Tractor instruction book, dated July 1, 1917. They called their tractors, "The Bull with the Pull". I like that! I've had this for a long time, and can't even recall who gave it to me. Has anyone heard of Big Bull Tractors? They appear to have been made in Minneapolis, and they're the craziest looking things I've ever seen! If sufficient enthusiasm is shown I might scan a photo or two.  ;)

That's me ;) I believe Big Bull Tractor Co. was absorbed by Minneapolis-Moline Tractor/Power Co. Though, I'm not 100% sure of that. Minneapolis-Moline bought up many smaller manufactures at the time to form the former company(Minneapolis-Moline Tractor Works).
