It looks as if your telephone line doesn't support pulse dialing. Are you on an analog line or do you use a telephone service via for example your internet (adsl) modem?

Do you have other dial telephones that do work?

Aha, that's maybe the problem..Yes, I have a phone connected on a modem (cable).  :o
Yes, my normal phone works..

Your "normal" phones has buttons, not a dial?

I guess you need a "pulse to tone converter", try Google to search for them, they are a bit expensive.

Maybe someone else knows on this forum where to get them cheap.
