Jan went to a yard sale on Saturday and asked "if they had any old telephones?"

Gentleman said he had one but not with him and would bring it back to the Yard Sale on Sunday. She went back and he did have it!

He said its been in his family as long as he can remember and he was a senior citizen. He said his parents bought it from Germany to the US, his quote.

It is a Kellogg with a marked transmitter cup and receiver cap. What I like is the patent pending on the hookswitch.

It was a mess when Jan brought it home, nickel looked horrible. Nickel cleaned up great with just a little brass showing through on the top of the cup where it was very rusty.

Nice Bakelite sleeve on the shaft, as they are usually cracked or broken.

Cloth cords are great and as a bonus....IT WORKS, although it needs a subset....Doug

Very nice find Doug. I like the looks of the Kellogg candle sticks. Cleaned up great. Jan does it again😀😀
