I can't tell you how many times I have asked this, Do you have any old telephones? At a yard sale today and as we was leaving, Do you have any old telephones?

Sure do, my father had one in the Sitting Room. It's looks like a daffodil. I was expecting a plastic WE 70s stick. Boy was I mistaken. All original connected to a 584 ringer box and fully functional. We were going to throw it away. Who wants old telephones......I DO!

So always ask, Do you have any old telephones?

Looks like you will have to distress it a bit. Drag it up and down the alley a few times!

Look like a very nice original finish phone Doug.

You can turn that phone into a lovely lamp, and applique some stickers onto the bell box. Then it'll sell for, ooooh, twenty dollars on etsy.

Years ago I visited an older couple that had a few phones for sale that were older plastic ones.
I told them about my interest in phones and they told me that they had put a few bakelite phones in the trash because they assumed that nobody would want them.

You should have seen the look on their faces when I told them what I might have payed for the phones...
