Post by: Hill Haven Telephone Company on September 08, 2021, 04:55:18 PM
I recently picked this new old stock AT&T 30A Card Caller up.

Opened it up, boards werent even plugged in.  nor was the power cable installed.    Powered it up.  She fired right up.

I was able to dial 1-800 numbers out of it.    Just gotta do some stuff to my asterisk dial plan and ill have it calling out on NPSTN/CNET.

I remember these in the airports.  There were units with keyboards that our service guys could connect to our
ordering system.  AT&T had VT100 ability until MCI (??) spoiled it for all of us.

We eventually ordered portable terminals for the team.
They had weather information and hotel info in the airline club rooms. (Red Carpet, Ambassador, etc.)
