Picked this one up from Ebay - just needs a little TLC.  Tore it apart to clean it up, and noticed that it used Western Electric stem and base.  Base is dated 1904, but both pieces are steel, not brass. Also, neither have that Bower Barff finish, just plain steel.  Notice the washer at the base of the stem, it's there just to cover the WE engraved name and dates.  First time I've seen a WE stick that old that wasn't brass.  "After" pictures should be posted tomorrow.

Sorry, I'm meant clean up and paint.   Had to soak most of it in muriatic acid to get the rust off.  The nickel polished up real nice, and the metal got a new coat of paint.
