There is a diagram on page 26 of the booklet #1079-B: "Western Electric Desk Telephone Sets." It does show the additional contacts in the 20-H hookswitch as well as the extra leads to the subset.

My phone had a green 3 conductor subset to stand cord.   It fell apart as it was so ratty.  What ever the old green cord are made of, they did not stand the test of time.  I would replace the cords, but I don't think the repros look the same.  This is a display phone, so as long as the receiver cord looks good, I will leave as is.
In the future I will try to post some additional pictures of the innards of this phone.

It's odd that onkly the B was obliterated, usually the entire mark is x'd out, not just the letter.
