A novice seller from Ohio has offered what appears to be one of the most collectable Western Electric telephones ever made, the "San Francisco" potbelly.

The item in question appears to have been in the process of being restored.  It has newer nickel plating and a later cup and transmitter.  The switch spring is also missing.  All the important parts are there, however, and the missing long pole receiver and early W.E. can be easily replaced (although it won't be cheap).  The owner deals in old clocks and says she bought this in a box of stuff at an estate sale.
