The Black Bakelite has only one Patent June 12 1894. Is the First rev of this receiver?

The Brown has Two Patents, both work with repro cords to test

I don't know the answer. But Bell's 1876 patent expired in 1894, so 1894 is the year that Stromberg-Carlson and other companies started making phones.

It looks like "June 12 -" refers to 6/12/1894 and not 1912.

Early ones were marked stromburg & carlson  note the "&"

those "Stromberg & Carlson" are hard to find.  That's a keeper.
