Aw come on Bill. Aren't you going to show us how to adjust the bias spring in Phatz' newer phone? I'm disappointed!

I wonder if it's just a poor design on the cordless that is causing the spikes from the dial to be interpreted as ringing voltage by the cordless? There must be lots of electronic phones that get along just fine with rotary dials.

And I wonder what's up with just static on the GPO set when the new set is plugged in as well?

Crackle on the 332 could be if you are using ADSL on your phone line, you need an ADSL filter tween line cord and socket.

You could try to reduce tinkle by rotating the bells, which are slightly asymmetrical to widen the gap between the clapper.
