Magneto & ringer for $1.29/lb. What is it, & where can I get a crank handle?

So, was this used with box that had a transmitter/receiver?
How would I wire it to one, like this one?

Where can I look for a crank handle for it?

These subsets were often used, along with external batteries,  with non-dial candlestick phones or non-dial hand telephone sets. That made the same circuit as the large wall phones which had the transmitter, receiver, generator and batteries all in one self-contained unit.

That  magnito box has a Sumter magnito in it .Box is not Sumter.

The box has a Kellogg lock.  Is it a Kellogg?
