I also just one a halfway decent unrestored 5302 for $12. It seems as though all phone prices have taken a big dive.

I don't know if there is a price dive.  Prices seem all over the map to me.  One man's trash and all that.
I just haven't been around phones any where near long enough to speculate about price fluctuations.

But IMHO the bargains seem to be out there, especially for the un-refurbished/un-restored phones.

BTW the same seller (of this expired contest) now has the listing below, and the price is getting up there among the other commercial restoration sellers like Chicago and Old Phone Works:
