These circled ones also please, thank you ,Gregg
The circled ones are toners. I forget the number of the yellow one, I think a 139B, but it is a single line toner. The gray one is a party line toner, KS16990L1. The blue topped one is an old buzzer type toner which uses two D cells.. You would use all of these in conjunction with a tone probe, such as a AT-8629 banana probe.

I do not recognize the tools in the top photo - they look to be a kit made for some reason. They may make up a framework for holding something. If you can give me any numbers printed on them, there is a possibility I can then identify them from the catalogues I have - pretty well every Bell System tool has a number on it.

Dave thank you for your response, here is another photo of the top one put together its circled , not sure if its a bell system tool, but what I could make of the numbers are 78 then what looks like a sideways capital T, and then 6, thanks again Gregg
Greg:

Could you take another photo of it from the top looking down - to me it looks like an adjustable holding fixture, possibly for holding circuit boards while soldering. - I still stick with that, but can't find anything similar in the catalogues.... It may have been used in a repair facility to hold phones for servicing?

Have a look at my message above. I was adding to it as you posted....

Also,

See: http://www.stevenjohnson.com/soldering/tools.htm

In latter days, Technical Devices Co. made a lot of solder reflow equipment, but back in the 50s specialized in soldering fixtures and smaller soldering tools. Nice tool.
