Finally - a SC 1212. And a SC intercom

I finally got a 1212.  These phones seem to always command high prices, so I was pleased to get this for $41.  Really polished up nice.  Also picked up a nice SC intercom.  The 1212 is a nice complement to the 1210 I got a couple weeks ago.

Congrats on a great find.  $41 is a very good price for a 1212 in good condition.  I was jealous a couple of years ago when I saw the 1212 that our own Dennis Markham bought at an antique shop for $20, but several weeks later, one appeared on etsy for $20, so I grabbed it.  The rubber edging on yours looks like it is in remarkable condition.  They are often cracked and/or stretched out of shape.  When mine arrived, the rubber part was over the bakelite.  In the listing, the seller had stated that the rubber was removable.  I had to use a bit of effort to stuff it under the shell since it had been stretched larger.
