When I searched for "milkglassanonymous" I got zero results. Am I missing something?

Try this link:

milkglassanonymous (http://www.ebay.com/sch/1970-Now/985/i.html?_nkw=&_udlo=&_udhi=&_ftrt=901&_ftrv=1&_sabdlo=&_sabdhi=&_samilow=&_samihi=&_sadis=15&_stpos=53189-7373&_fss=1&_fsradio=%26LH_SpecificSeller%3D1&_saslop=1&_sasl=milkglassanonymous&_sop=10&_dmd=1&_ipg=2000)

You'll find these all priced st $99 to $60 or so plus $13 shipping. No, not an April Fool's Day joke either.

Thanks for posting the photos. I guess this topic should  be under "hideous Telephones".

It appears to be a wall paper type covering on the phone.

Now if one of these "gems" was also a lamp, I'd think we'd really have a winning combo here.....

All joking aside, I have always been half tempted to get one of these. Yes they are...unique....to put it politely, but still part of the larger home-phone history. Why they are always so much money is beyond me.

Who knows what is underneath? Maybe a treasure covered up by all that ugly paper!

Maybe so.  It also could be that the paper is helping to hold it together!
