Thanks Dan! Good first Auction Contest of the Year!

From ebaY listing:
This is an original Western Electric Bell Systems rotary style desk phone. It comes in its' original box from Western Electric and does not appear to have ever been used. There is also the original paperwork that came with the phone. The color of the phone is a brown and the condition is impeccable. The box identifies the item number as one 500 D 3.

Considering the sale of a mahogany one from the same seller, I'll go for $438... :D

AE40FAN

I'll say 500....I wonder where this seller found these?

the dial looks to have some wear and some grey smudges.

i'll say $330.

............btw, is the grey handset cord original ? i've only seen matching brown ones.

the auction for this blue 500 P ended well for the seller......went up from 100 to 500 bucks in the last few seconds......

Rose beige  (like the one I have )usually have the neutral beige cords. I haven't seen many with grey cords. I have only seen straight brown cords on mahogany brown phones.

Considering this one was cracked in the front and mine has the original wall cord, I am happy with my avatar phone. I was watching that blue mushroom  just to see what it would go for.
