Ivory/Gold Western Electric B1 102

I found this phone about five years ago. I doubt this was a factory paint, although the paint is superb. It is Ivory with a gold layer over it. Really a sharp looking phone. Picture does not do it justice. A F1 handset would never have been in this phone from WE. I was going to strip it when I bought it and put an E1 on it, but I can't make myself do it. Anyone have any information on this?....many thanks.....Doug

I don't have any information about this paint scheme, so I'll just offer an opinion.  I'm with you... It's very pretty, and even if it's unoriginal, I don't think I could bring myself to strip it.
