You might find this even more interesting. A white one like this, from the same seller, sold for $255 in February.

It's interesting seeing all the parts to this device. I don't know if the high selling price was because it was white or NOS or both. They've also sold green and light gray ones in the $150-$175 range, but they were BIN. Evidently they all came from an estate sale and the black one you posted is the last one.
