My friend over in the lone star state had one of those pictured Charlie Brown christmas trees, I thought he made it himself, but seems you can actually buy them....

yeh, the new trees may be easier, but try finding the loose or bad bulb now. I hate the pre-lit trees, they spoil Christmas! I just bought 2 more 8 light sets, NEW for $20.00 plus shipping... have a box of C6 bulbs and have taken the paint off of some of the lamps and am going to recolor them... man, I'm going to have the brightest Christmas this next December! Boy, am I excited! now, all I have to do.... is find a good artificial tree. unlit, of course.....   John

On an interesting note, seems that the blue flashing LED lights have been causing the police over here some bother, cos they use flashing blues as their emergency lights...
