Clear phones are pretty fun. Not that I have any. :'(
Clear plastics were also made by a third-party company for use with any 2500 base & components. Back in the 80s we got a case-load of the plastics and assembled these to give away with new PBX sales. The way to tell it's one of this type, is that there won't be a manufacturer's name at the back of the housing or in the handgrip of the receiver.
I got one of those cheap off eBay and swapped it for WE guts not long ago. Came out pretty nice!

This particular phone looks like a Goldstar novelty clear 2500. These have marked housings and handsets.

Goldstar also made a regular full clear 2500 marked Goldstar for Northern Wire and cable. around 1984.
These were used as customer gifts.
