My Princess phone wont ring.

Hi..I just got a rotary dial Princess phone,which works quite well.I updated the connection,plugged it in and was really impressed with
the clarity......but it wont ring.Could someone give me a hint as to how I would rewire it so that it rings? Thank you very much.Carl..NYC

Carl,

Early Princess phones do not contain ringers.  If the phone does contain a ringer, the ringer might be connected between the red and yellow wires of the line cord, in which case you would need to connect the green and yellow wires together.

If you still need help, pictures are useful.

Larry...this is a 702b,so it has a ringer,and after tranferring wires from one to another,I did as you suggested,and put the green and yellow
together..and Success! It rings! I Thank you very much.Carl NYC
