Oh absolutely! He would not try to "fool" anyone about it. It is just us here on the forum thinking "what a great deal if it is a thermoplastic 302" which it isn't.

Still probably a nice deal for well done blue 302.

nicely painted (blue) 302's used to sell for $300 ea at KS shows.
There was one a year for 3-4 years.

I wouldn't pay more than $100-$150 for a painted blue 302. And that is assuming new replacement matching cords. (and a really nice paint job)

I have had all of the colors over the years except for blue. If it isn't origanal plastic then it is just a repro.

This is just my opinion on the subject.
I don't chase colored 302's tho.

Thinking about it, I don't think I have had green either, however it is supposed to be the easiest color besides white.
