Sooo the crickets are chirping on this request....  I did learn that the receiver could be either Swedish American, or perhaps American Electric..

Does anyone have an educated guess?

My guess is the mouthpiece is worth at least $100.00 and the OST receiver is worth at least $200-250+

He  collects  receivers. He knows a lot about receivers their  market value.

I am not sure about the value of the glass mouthpiece. The Red Cross glass mouthpieces go for big buck since there are so few surviving. Even the repro Red Cross go for a nice sum. This Dictaphone one is different. Is there a demand for it? How many are out there? I have no idea so I cannot hazard a guess. The receiver is also unknown to me but I would agree with Jim on that.

There are mouthpiece collectors, so it does not necesarily need to go to someone with a Dictaphone. If I were to sell it, I'd ask $200 to start.  I would ask about $200 for the OST receiver depending on how it cleans up.

Thanks for the input...  I was going to keep the receiver, but decided to put it up on ebay, along with the mouthpiece.

The receiver is $199 obo, and the mouthpiece is $89.99. 

If anyone has interest, will negotiate off ebay and save both the buyer and seller some money.
