I've not seen one of these before and like the angular design. Somewhat pricey I think?

Pretty cool phone, google finds a couple similar ones. It's made in Hungary, some went to the Soviet Union (or Bulgaria...) and have Cyrillc letters under the fingerwheel. It seems someone glued Roman letters over them on this one. I've seen other high priced offers from Ukraine - the asked price is even higher compared with a regular income there. Unusual phone but too pricey and then the shipping cost.
Interesting, the seller seems to aim at the UK market specifically, and does not offer shipping to other EU... erm... west European countries.

@countryman - Agree it's too expensive. I didn't realise it was the same seller that has lots of other phones on UK eBay (all of which end up pricey when you factor the postage).
It is indeed interesting that he is targeting the UK only - I wonder why?

I have seen those Hungarian phones a number of times.  If I would find one for cheap in good condition already in the USA, I would probably buy it.  They have an odd stylishness about them.  Note that all sorts of phones made their way to the USSR during its final years when the market was opened.  I expect that there were huge shortages of all sorts of things that the socialist utopia failed to produce in sufficient quantities, so massive importation took place.  I have seen phones from Germany, Denmark, France, Australia, and other countries for sale by sellers in Ukraine and other former communist countries, and I have bought a few.  My first Australian PMG 802 came from eastern Ukraine.  Shipping from Ukraine was much cheaper than from Australia.
