And the winner of Auction Contest #173 is Dennis Markham who with the 6th entry into the contest offered the winning guess of $5,285.00 to give him his 8th auction contest win! So, a big congratulations go out to Dennis Markham for another win in the CRPF Auction Contests and for moving up one rung in the Contest Standings.

Well, it seems bidder i***n ( 274 )'s one and only high bid of $5,200 placed early in the auction was finally exposed but not by frequent bidder d***s ( 414 ) who ran the auction up to $4,030 over several days. It was exposed by the third bidder to enter the auction, m***x ( 1997 ), with his one and only bid, a last second snipe placed 4 seconds before the auction ended, to take the phone home for $5,300.00. The phone was listed high at $2,299.99 and rose steadily to about $4,030, where it sat for the last two days of the auction until the last second snipe came in. The auction saw only 3 bidders placing 18 bids.
