does anyone know anything about the 200 series KTU's and how to troubleshoot them? I have a 202 then when no power is applies still actuates using phone line power. the H relay is energized when the phone is picked up. what would cause this? if there is no power to the system, then where would the short be? or is there one?

I don't know about your system.
However,  most telephone systems have a power fail phone feature.
If power fails, you can still dial out on at least 1 phone or line. I think this is a pretty old feature for phone systems.
If you can find the bsp, you might want to see if that is the case.
Good-luck,

:) Jim, found the issue... it was the PF circuit. When I rewired the system last time, I had pulled out that wiring and forgot to put it back. I'm so used to the 212 just working like its suppose to that I keep forgetting that the 202 has to have the power failure circuit wired. if not, this happens... so, thanks for the reply... all's good now...
