Does anybody have any suggestions to stop coiled cord stretching for wall phones? I have thought of running a string or wire through the coils & securing both ends, to keep it from stretching, I don't have a bunny pen holder:) Any thoughts?

I just take the cord on my 554 and hang it over the switch hook(it is a nine foot cord though)

It's easy, just reduce the earth's gravity thus reducing the pull on the wire and therefore reducing the problem of stretching...

Just try not to jump too high though...
