Look closely at the back of the black transmitter.  It is a Western Electric uninsulated cup.  Probably used for an Interphone or RR apparatus since it has no American Bell Telephone Company markings.   If anyone needs the Kellog transmitter make an offer.

I saw those transmitters and was tempted to buy them since the price was dirt cheap, but I already have so much stuff lying around.

Are you selling the black one or the nickel plated?

I have seen them for a while but never noticed the WE cup before.
I am selling everything except the WE transmitter cup.

That type of WECo cup was usually used to attach to a transmitter arm on a wood wall phone.  There is another part called a transmitter cup mounting lug that can be attached to the cup with three screws so it can be mounted on a candlestick perch.

If the paint is original than I think it must be from a RR wood phone rather than a candlestick.  The only black candlesticks that had 200-series cups were telephones not intercoms, so you would expect them to have the ABT stamp.  Or did WE selll candlestick telephones to the independents?
