WE 294A would be the later style common battery fiddleback telephone.

New 30 day eBay listing offering a "1930's Western Electric Telephone Free Shippng" for BIN $99.99. Inside docs say Kellogg. Any WE here?

Looks in good shape, some parts missing, and a reasonable price for a Kellogg. Agree?

Interesting that it is equipped with a Vincent Rare Gas Relay.

Sargeguy

The exterior is certainly in great shape but with no magneto I would be happier with 60-$75.

Is the magneto actually missing or was it converted to common battery operation?

Sargeguy

It looks like it was converted.

Since the Kellogg Model F2809 telephone is capable of being converted from magneto to common battery, I think you are right.

The hole underneath the escutcheon plate for the magneto crank does not appear to have been drilled or perhaps is blocked by the condenser.

The wiring diagram for L.B.T. /L.B.S. is 20163 and for C.B., 20225.

Contempra

The essential is missing, so $50 to $75 is enough.
