Hi everybody,
After seeing how nice the AE 80 in gray looked, I though it might be time to make the 880 look the same ,or close as I can get to it. Here are the before pics , yeah, a lot of sanding!!!!!!!!!!!  stub

Jorge:

There aren't 880 of them, or even 80...AND they aren't gray, so....

What were we taking about again....(?)

Stub is from Tennesse ... Tennesse cheer leaders rooting for him to do an excellent job on the 880. I'm in the picture too (the guy with the hat)!

Jorge ,
The pic of TN Cheerleaders has reminded me of the year 1978. I drove for MATA ( Memphis Area Transit Authority ) then and I got to take the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders shopping and a quick trip for alittle while at Elvis' house.  Oh , those were the days!!   stub

Still not finished yet but closer. Where can one find some of those wooden brushes with hog's bristle?
Handset and AE logo and I will be done with this one.
Not as good as Jorge but better than it was . Pictures when I'm done.    stub

Any Step by Step CO will have them available. We called them "Sash Brushes" Hope that helps you!

Huge improvement Ken! It even has correct gray cords...nice.

It has taken you awhile so now I can't remember what you were charging to restore this one for me....

I think that a gray 880 is the last color I need on the AE 880 shelf. Well I still need a Turquoise 880 speaker but my friend Grant had some AE Turquoise paint mixed up and put into spray cans to make up an AE Turquoise 3 slot coin phone and he is going to spray an 880 speaker for me as well.
