Matilo Telephones

Tonight, BBC 2 20.00 o'clock (21.00 o'clock), Collectaholics.

It may not be about telephones, but worth while watching this. It may help you and your dear ones put your telephonitis in perspective. Episode 1, a railitis sufferer.

I watched that, and spied a few phones, the nicest was a GPO 711 wallphone, but, sadly, there was a modern pretend GPO 232 and the other a 1980s wooden wall phone, but all the other stuff that was shown (bar the large collection of beer cans!!) was rather interesting...  :)

LOL I'll watch it tomorrow. Recorded it. The wife is watching Midsummer murders.

I love seeing (other?) mad collectors.

Also there seems no end to what people come up with to collect. There are even brick collectors!

People talk about phones being a good weapon, if you have an intruder, but bricks would be fabulous.. lol

I have a set of vacuum cleaners that would pack quite a wallop if swung at an intruder, though it would be a shame to trash a perfectly good Sanitaire over Burglar Bill's skull... ;D

Not to mention all the people who collect knives, swords or guns!
My name is Kenn, and I like telephones.

What if there was a married couple, and the husband collected working Medieval catapults, and the wife collected vintage bricks? You would get the best "vintage" home defense system ;D

I doubt that it a good idea to get involved with a woman that collects bricks.  :o
