I've not seen one of these in clear before.
I don't know if it's rare?

"Really rare 1977 Clear GTE Automatic Electric Model 80 rotary dial desk phone.  I think it is all original (I'm not an AE expert), NOS handset cord and a new 6' modular mounting cord.  Phone is plug-in ready.
Freshly restored, fully tested and works perfect.  No chips or cracks, very light signs of use.
Please Note:  These vintage phones are made for "landline" service.  If you have any other type of service, check with your service provider to be sure this type of phone will work."

AE50 ? (Pretty sure about this one. ISTR one of these)
AE80
Rotary styleline
TT Styleine
Rotary Buttset, (the WE looking one)
and now AE 80e

That housing may of been made with sample plastic.
