Black '58 501 matching numbers

I didn't really need another black 500 series WE phone. This one is dirty. When I saw it at a local antique shop for $10.00 I had to give it a home. It works, rings, dials and has a dial tone. All numbers are '58 except the '67 transmitter and the long curly handset cord which isn't dated. The leather covered feet are in good condition, although one has been stained with some ink or something similar. One day I will clean it up and preserve it for prosperity. After all, it's someone's birthday phone!

Love finding an all matching phone and just thinking on how the last people to really be into its guts were people in a western electric plant.

Did it have the vacuum tube in it still?

I agree on finding these pieces that haven't been tampered with much...No vacuum tube, though.

It really does...The thing about it that's hard to figure, the dial is smooth. Dials up great!
