My bargain red bar arrived Monday afternoon, and I started cleaning it.  The shell is in very good condition with no noticeable cracks or chips, but the handset is slightly rough (and will need a bit of light sanding).  As I normally do, I connected the phone before dismantling it, and it did work, including dialing out, but the dial (AE) is a bit sticky.  I have found that a good spraying with electrical contact cleaner usually un-sticks dials.

Kellogg is actually one of the few phone manufacturers which still exists in some form.  Kellogg was bough back in the 1960s (I think) by ITT, and Cortelco inherited the phone business from ITT.
